Marysa Meyer

Marysa Meyer Physical Therapy

Marysa is passionate about finding the “why” of your issues. Understanding how your entire health story has impacted how you move, breathe, and function today is vital for getting you on the road to healing both the mind and the body. Utilizing a hands on approach, Marysa blends muscle and joint mobilization with manual therapy to the viscera (organs), nerves, and fascia throughout the body to treat not only the area you have pain, but the areas that may be contributing to your current condition. She guides you through exercises and movements that help reconnect the brain to the body’s fundamental motor patterns, increasing your body’s inherent stability and strength.

Marysa’s passion for the mind-body connection began with a love of analyzing and understanding movement in other people. As she explored different activities like yoga, pilates, and running, she began to realize the powerful link between our mindset and how our bodies move and perform. She pursued degrees in both exercise science and psychology to gain a better understanding of this connection, and has since been trained in a variety of yoga and meditation practices. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher and incorporates yoga, mindfulness, and embodiment work into her physical therapy practice. She strongly believes in education and empowerment as key pieces of restoring overall health and wellness.

The connection between the mind and the body is fascinating, and I love helping people bring more awareness to their movement. Empowering others to take charge of their health and wellness is one of the most important things we can do to create lasting change.”
